YTA-Literacy Program Volunteers

Do you enjoy reading? Do you like spending time with young people? We have a wonderful opportunity for you at Young Talented Achievers Literacy Program. We are always looking for reading volunteers to come into school two days a week to spend 1 or 2 hours reading with some of our participants/students. The hours are flexible and the rewards are boundless.

We are willing to train. At that time you will be shown specific techniques, receive reading materials, and grade level assignments.
1. Reading aloud to small group
2. Reading along with an individual requiring reading help
3. Instructor assistant
YTA-Scholarship Award Volunteers


The purpose of the volunteer Program is to provide an opportunity for parents and other interested adults to assist the program personnel in the Scholarship Award Program. Such services are valuable in aiding participants with their education, improving their grades, and assisting in the administrative office. Contact the office to volunteer.
